Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 16, 2026
1. Who we are
This website ("Bladiator", accessible at bladiator.com) is operated by independent developer Robin van Poppel. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and game, and how it is used.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to run the game and provide support:
- Account data — the email address and password hash you provide when registering. Passwords are stored as salted hashes and are never readable in plain text.
- Game data — your character's position, items, market listings, village, messages and progress. This data makes the persistent game world possible.
- Technical logs — standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) used to keep the service secure and stable.
3. How we use information
- To run, maintain and improve the game and website.
- To respond to support requests and process bug reports.
- To prevent abuse, cheating and fraud.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party. We do not show advertising based on your personal data.
4. Cookies and sessions
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in to your game account. This cookie is required for the game to function. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
5. Data retention
Account and game data are kept while your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us — we will delete it within a reasonable time frame.
6. Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the contact page.
7. Children
Bladiator is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has registered an account, please contact us and we will remove it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
