What Bladiator Is
Bladiator is a persistent medieval MMORPG that runs entirely in your browser. There is no client to download and no email activation — you register and you are playing within seconds.
The game is built around a genuine player economy. Every log, plank, ingot and sword is produced by a player: gathered at a work station, refined at a building, crafted by hand and traded on the player market. If you want to progress, you work for it — and what you build is yours.
Who Builds Bladiator
Bladiator is created by Robin van Poppel, an independent web developer who has been building web applications since before the iPhone was invented. Robin writes all of the game's code, design and content himself — from the tile-based movement system and the battle engine to the market, bank, village and animal farm systems.
Development is open to player feedback. Bugs are fixed on a regular schedule, balance is adjusted based on how the community actually plays, and new features are tested with players before release.
Design Principles
- Playable immediately. No download, no install, no email verification, no paywall.
- Economy first. Items are worth what players decide — the market is real, not scripted.
- Honest about what exists. We only advertise features that are actually in the game.
- Fair by design. Optional upgrades speed up production but never lock content behind payment.
Where the Game Is Going
Bladiator is actively developed. The current focus is a stable, well-balanced core of gathering, crafting, trading and village building. On the horizon:
- More monsters and higher-tier boss fights
- Player-versus-player content
- Guilds and player-run communities
- More professions, buildings and crafting recipes
Content is added in order of what players actually ask for. If you play Bladiator and want something added, tell us — it might be next.
